Team Ugly Mug
The Ugly Mug, a 38 ft. Fountain TE equipped with triple 275 Mercury Opti Max engines, weighs anchor in Cape May, N.J. and heads to sea under the direction of Captain Robert Ransom. Ransom, the owner and operator of Cape May's Ugly Mug restaurant and bar, is also the popular host of TV's "Sportfishing Unlimited," parlaying his fishing experience into an informative blend of tips, techniques, and real fishing action. The Ugly Mug drops its lines primarily for striped bass, tilefish, tuna, and shark. Ransom is active in the American Striper Association and can be found at ASA tournaments stretching from Cape Cod to Virginia. Find out more at his website, www.sportfishingunlimited.net.
