Graduated Nimitz High school in Irving Tx. , Two years of college, decided to take a semester off to fish (probably a mistake) never finished. Married to Karen , no children , lots of animals(too many to name). We both work for the Odee Company which is a printing company in Dallas, I am a technician and have worked there for ten years.

Before that I was an electrician for twenty-one years. I still hold my electrical license. I fished my first tournament at the age of sixteen, did not do too well, but I was hooked and knew I wanted to learn more.

I joined the Irving Bass Club in 1983, won five Angler of the year titles with them, during that time I began entering bigger tournaments. Anglers Choice was the circuit at that time. I had some success, but the learning curve got me a lot. I learned how hard you had to work to keep up with the good ones. I ended up winning a couple of AOY tiles and won my first boat in a championship, this made me believe I could be competitive. I have fished many trails, on a regional and state level, I also began fishing in the B.A.S.S. opens in 2001, My best finish was a 10th,my best finish for a season was 25th.

• I currently fish B.A.S.S central opens, BASS/ABA weekend series, Basschamps, Ignitionbass, Bud Light tournament trail, and misc. other tournaments.

• I usually do seminars at The Arlington Tackle show, The Dallas Boat Show ( most recent on 2-14-10) and there are some local bass clubs that ask me to come to meetings and speak.

• Recent Accomplishments: AOY Ignitionbass 08,09. Made the Texas State team the past two years in the TBF federation, made the Texas State team the previous two years For the BASS federation. Won the Texas State championship for the Federation in 2006. Won BASS/ABA weekend series div. 11 AOY title in 2007, Qualified for nationals in 07,08,09. Won the southwest regional championship on Dardenelle in 08. Won the HI-Seas Grand Slam National championship on the Tom-Bigby waterway in 08.

Spend time with my wife, catch up with things around the house, and I kind of like to stare at a T.V.
