HI-SEAS WELCOMES BASSMASTER ELITE PRO CLIFF PACE HI-SEAS is proud to announce that Cliff Pace, 2008 Bassmaster Classic 2nd place finisher, will be joining their pro staff for the upcoming season. As Cliff’s exclusive line sponsor, he will have access to all of the company’s currently available line products and will assist in evaluating new products under development. “HI-SEAS is the line I trust in any and every situation I encounter. They manufacture a line for every application that I could ever be in. Using HI-SEAS products has greatly increased my confidence fishing on the trail.”
“The Classic was one of the toughest in recent memory,” Steve Miller, HI-SEAS Sales Manager said, “and we were totally impressed with Cliff’s knowledge, poise and overall performance under difficult conditions. He is definitely one of the sports up and coming superstars and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him throughout the 2008 Bassmaster Elite Tournament Series.”
Pace, a 27-year-old resident of Petal, Mississippi, was in the thick of it from the very start competing against 49 of the top anglers in the world. His first day performance was stellar, putting him well ahead of past Classic champions like Van Dam and Iacconelli. Even as conditions made the fishing harder on days two and three, Pace worked hard scratching out enough weight to make an astonishing second place finish in only his second Classic appearance.
Last year Pace logged over 31,000 miles fishing the Bassmaster Elite Series traveling from California to Florida, New York to Texas. “HI-SEAS diversity of specialty lines will give Cliff the edge he needs to fish in varied locations and water conditions,” said Mike Shields, VP of Marketing. “At a time when our brand has become a force in bass fishing we relish the opportunity to work with a pro of Cliff’s caliber.”
HI-SEAS manufactures Spectra, monofilament and Fluorocarbon fishing lines which are taking the bass fishing world by storm. Call (800) 824-9473 for a free catalog.
Cliff says...
Started competing in professional level
tournaments in 2003 and since that time i have been able to qualify
for 2 bassmaster classics 2006 and 2008. 11 top ten finishes in bassmaster
level events including 2 wins. 41 top 50 finishes in 57 events fished as a
professional angler including 21 top 20 finishes. 2nd place finish in 2008
bassmaster classic. I really feel like i have received a wonderful
education in the last 6 years i have been competing and am really looking
forward to what the future holds.
Top 3 HI-SEAS line and reasons why:
100% Fluorocarbon. Limited stretch, increased sensitivity, invisiablity, very high knot strength, and unbelibiable abrasion resistance.
Grand Slam braid. Great superline offering very high breaking strength
along with good castablity.
Grand Slam multi polymer. Absorbs impact shock very well, performs
very well when you need a line that cast well and sinks slowly.

What tip would you give a non professional angler?
Fish as much as you can. There is
no suspustiton for time on the water.
When not fishing I like to...
Spend time with my family. Lure crafting is also a hobby.
